Something GOOD Is Going to Happen ...In Ukraine!
We have a little revolution going on in our backyard : ) The
people of Kiev are speaking out against corrupt leaders,
camping out in Independence Square, and figuring out that they
really can change the future!
When I used to ask people, "Why don't you do something about
the corruption?", they would usually reply, "We
can't do anything." The change in people here is a MIRACLE!
When I first came to Kiev I got robbed in the hotel where
I was staying. This week I looked up at that very
room as I marched by in a 'March of Truth' organized
by our church! Later I watched my beautiful wife take the microphone and
sing a hymn for the crowd!
It's MCJOYFUL Christmas Time Again!
It doesn't get much better than this : )
I don't think it's hard for you to imagine the joy of a
trip to McDonalds for orphans in Ukraine.
A ten dollar donation will pay for the trip to McDonalds, a Happy
Meal, a full year's supply of desperately needed vitamins,
and a chance to hear about a SAVIOUR who was born just for
them!

How Will We Reach The Village Children?
So many children. They all need to know about
God's love. Really, how can we reach them all?
God has sure blessed our work with Pastor Gregory in Krivoy
Rog, Ukraine. Together ... we have started over
400 village churches in the last three years!
This week I was talking with Pastor Galina (she's one
of the awesome church planters that we sponsor). She was
telling me about her work in a village called Novi
Mir (New World). She had been diligently serving there
for months and had only been able to bring one elderly lady
to church. Then, that lady died and people started to ridicule
her saying, “If we come to your church will we die too?”
Not long ago, she met Babushka Olga on the street.
Olga was sitting with her crutches at her side, and her feet
were swolen and wrapped in bandages. Pastor Galina
asked if she could pray for her and, with eyes of surprise (and
faith), Babushka Olga replied, “I guess God sent you here.”
After praying together and talking for a while Babushka
Olga walked away. Galina said that Olga turned around the
corner of a nearby building and stopped. She stood there
for a while and … dropped her crutches! Then she
started jumping up and down and dancing, shouting, “I’m
healed! I’m healed!”
Many people in the 'New World' village have now come to believe
in Jesus because of Olga’s miracle. Pastor Galina told
me that just last week she was on her way to the village for
a service and she was about ten minutes late. She was a
bit concerned that people might come and then leave because she
wasn’t there. When she arrived, Babushka Olga, five
other adults and EIGHT CHILDREN were praising the Lord with instruments
they found at home!
God will reach the children. We just need to continue
to seek His perfect will.
